Beginner's Approach to Yoga Wednesdays @ 7-8 pm ~ Fall Session
Not just for brand new students, this class is ideal for those who haven't practiced for a while or anyone interested in refreshing their perspective on familiar yoga poses.
In this class, we'll explore the basic poses and their key actions, but we'll also try out some novel poses and variations. In the process, you'll learn how to adapt poses to suit your body's needs because this is an important part of the practice. Everyone's body is different.
Each class opens with breath work to relax the body and focus the mind. Classes close with savasana (reclined relaxation pose).
With this pass, save $3 per class ($15 vs $18/class) compared to the drop-in rate.
Valid for these Wednesdays in November & December 2023. Dates are: November 15, 22 & 29; December 6 & 13.
You are encouraged to bring your own props (yoga mat etc.) to class, but I will have props available. I recommend having a blanket or towel to sit on, as most of our backs appreciate the extra support. Yoga blocks and a strap are handy (though not entirely necessary).
