Yin yoga is a slow, passive practice that focuses on the health of joints, fascia, tendons and ligaments. In Yin, muscular engagement is minimal. Most poses are floor-based and each held 3-5 minutes. Bolsters, blankets, blocks and other props are often used to assist in release and relaxation.


A Yin Yoga practice can:


  • reduce anxiety and stress
  • improve flexibility
  • improve joint mobility
  • improve sleep

SPECIAL SIDE NOTE - are you going away on holiday for a couple weeks? If you can attend 7/9 classes, contact me (contact info below) for a prorated class payment link.


Cost per class works out to $16.80 with GST.


You are encouraged to bring your own props (yoga mat etc.) to class, but I will have props available. I recommend having a blanket or towel to sit on, as most of our backs appreciate the extra support. Yoga blocks and a strap are handy (though not entirely necessary).
