Class Descriptions

All classes are beginner friendly.

​Check out the class comparison chart below to help find a good fit for the benefits you are wanting from your yoga practice. 
Sometimes, the best class for you is simply whichever one that fits your schedule.

Each class will include some breathing exercises (to relax and focus the body and mind) and reclined relaxation at the end.

Gentle Hatha
Slow to mid
Relatively gentle, relaxing poses held for a longer length of time, with a bit of strength and balance poses sprinkled in
Slow Flow
Mid
Slow, flowing movements designed to gently cultivate strength and work the breath to movement connection
Light & Bright Hatha
Mid
Shaking off sluggishness and getting you energized!  We'll work on empowering poses to build strength and flexibility. Some elements of slow flow in here
Full Body Hatha
Mid
Like the above class, full body hatha will awaken your body and senses from head to toe
Gravity Yoga®
Slow
A unique, highly targeted functional flexibility and mobility style. Great for anyone with tight hips, low back and hamstrings. Poses are held for a few minutes at a time; expect a good challenge in this class.
Beginner/Sampler Series
Slow - Mid
(varies)
Ideal for those brand new to yoga but ALSO those wanting to try out different styles of yoga to see what suits you best. Each week, a different style will be explored. Classes will include: hatha, slow flow, Gravity Yoga®, and yin yoga. We'll review the key points of foundational yoga poses, which will be helpful for new students and excellent review for existing students
