Attending a Yoga Class FAQs
Which class is right for me?
Gentle hatha is a great choice for relaxing, connecting to your body and exploring your flexibility. Sunday Hatha and Tuesday Hatha are well rounded classes at a mellow pace, with some flowing sequences interwoven. All classes are suitable for all levels, including beginners.
Consider taking the 6-week beginner's series if you are new or relatively new to yoga, where you will learn fundamental yoga poses, key alignment tips and ways to incorporate props.
Do I sign-up for classes in advance? Or do you take drop-ins?
To reserve your spot, sign up in advance by messaging Lacey at 250-614-3965 (& pay by e-transfer) or registering online (& pay by credit card). Drop-in students are accommodated but it is helpful to notify me you will be attending by text, call or email, especially in the event of a class cancellation. In person, you may pay by cash or credit card.
How early should I arrive to a yoga class?
Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before class starts. If you've never attended a class at Yoga from the Hart, arrive 15 minutes before class.

Wear comfortable pants and a light long-sleeve top, t-shirt or tank top. No footwear or socks are needed.
What should I bring to a yoga class?
You can bring a water bottle, a mat, and any props you like (a blanket, strap or blocks). There are also some mats and props available at the studio.
